Hi, I’m Sandra, the founder of Sandy Souk, a woman-owned
small business born from a lifelong love of natural living, cultural heritage,
and scientific discovery.

My journey to launching this business in 2024 was anything
but linear—but every step led me here with purpose.

With a deep-rooted passion for natural, clean products, I’ve
always been curious about what we put on and in our bodies. That curiosity led
me to study chemical biology for over five years, where I explored the power of
plants, minerals, and naturally occurring compounds. I was endlessly fascinated
by how ancient remedies could meet modern science—and how the smallest molecule
could make the biggest difference.

But science was just one side of my identity. I’ve also
spent years immersed in the world of fashion and design, formally studying both
alongside my scientific training. This duality allowed me to merge a sharp eye
for beauty with the discipline of lab-based research—two worlds that rarely
collide, but when they do, they create something truly special.

Equally influential in shaping my perspective is my cultural
heritage. Raised between the rhythms of the Middle East and the sun-soaked
spirit of the Mediterranean, I was surrounded by time-honored rituals of
self-care: olive oil for the skin, rosewater for the soul, and storytelling in
every handmade object. These traditions aren’t just memories—they’re the
foundation of everything I create.

drawing on both ancient cultural wisdom and scientific expertise. Whether it’s
